The Fifth Glorious Mystery

In the image of God He made them.
Male and female He created them
and said to them,

“Rule over the earth
as king and queen
and bring my creation
to its fulfillment.”

Now we see...
the New Adam,
the Divine Son himself
and the New Eve,
Mary his creature,
his mother and his spouse.

They rule over heaven
as well as earth
and all the angels and saints
surround them with joy.

We want to join you,
Holy Mother of God.

Protect us from sin,
and guide our lives
in paths that are pleasing to the Lord.

Encourage us
and make us worthy
of promises of Christ.
